It is understandable to be worried if you notice a strange rash on its baby, let alone the one who develops soon after they got a vaccine.
But if this happens to your child after breaking on a measure, don’t worry: it doesn’t mean they only have a disease.

Instead, your little can have a reaction to measles, mumps and rubella vaccine (MMR). But be sure that your child will not get down with the measles after he gets the vaccine. When to call your pediatrician about the rash of your child
Most side effects your child can experience after obtaining MMR vaccine, including rash, mild and temporary. Heavy reactions are very rare.
But you should always let go of your pediatric if you ever deal with the symptoms of your child, some of which can actually point to another disease.
It is important to let the doctor of your child know:
- Your child has a high or extended temperature or seems very ill.

If your child develops certain symptoms soon after receiving MMR shots, however, they can have an allergic reaction, for which medical help is needed.
Call 911 immediately if your child has any of these signs right after MMR:
- Heavy rash or hives all over the body
- Difficulty in breathing
- Swelling of the face, throat or lip
- Extreme weakness or drowsiness and inability to wake
This could indicate anaphylactic shock, life threatening condition. This type of reaction after the vaccine is extremely rare, but if it happens, you must call 911 and get a child to the hospital immediately. The allergic reaction would usually occur within minutes by hours after the vaccine, says, dr. Dezure says.
