What is the story like?

The arm of a million dollars is based on the true story of the Independent Sports Agent JB Bernstein (Jon Hamm) and his business partner, Aash (AASIF Mandvi), who face financial catastrots when they lose the client on the list. Insecure what to change their wealth, Aash – who is Indian origin – he says he will go home and relax watching cricket, sports JB thinks he is sporty. But one night surfing channel between crickets and Britain has talent It gives JB Ideas about life: production Talent emissions in India to reveal whether some of the many cricket players have what is needed to be the first Indian players in smaller baseball.

Is that good?

Hamm is well selected to play a smooth agent who hopes his idea to find the first Indian baseball players to get to bigger leagues. Hamm knows how to play charming but different characters, and JB – for most film – it’s just: a man who makes a lot of great promises, then he has to reach. The actor has good chemistry with everyone, from Mandva (which is as always, effortlessly entertained) to cheers the tenant / love interest of Lake Bell in three grateful, confused and diligent young Indians to return to the state.

Despite its own performance by the MLB of hope – Life pi Star Suraj Sharma is quite magnetic and we hope to get more roles, while Madhur Mittal is evocative as a Broodier, a more thoughtful athlete, Dinesh – their story is secondary to JB. What is the kind of too bad, because it is their life journey, their courage, their “water from the water,” it is most interesting. In addition to two players, there is Darshan Jariwala, who plays Vivek, comics of the Indian baseball for baseball pint that hopes to train baseball full time. While incredibly sweet and funny, his character occasionally feels cartoon home sweet. Overall this is a fine family sports drama with a good message. It’s just a shame focus on the agent, not players.
