What is the story like?

When Luke (Dakota Goyo) finds a polar bear that is separated from his mother, he is determined to unite a couple, even if the journey is dangerous. When Luke’s family reveals to him, they have no one else to address, except muktuk (Goran Visnjić), an experienced tracer who may be responsible for the death of Luke’s father. But when the muktuk saves Luke after it falls into the melting ice, the couple are stuck in a dangerous storm, on their own ice. Will he be able to survive a dangerous journey to rescue the cuby bear? And will Luke ever reveal the truth about the death of his father?

Is that good?

Although visually astonishing despair of beauty and shine of the Canadian Arctic, this adventurous film falls a little on development and dialogue. Children with a short attention will cost a quick jump in a dangerous journey over ice, but older children and adults can want a little more character development and less awkward lesson on the Arctic Wilderness. But animal and nature lovers will enjoy a playful rampun polar bear and amazing snapshots of narshales, seals and more.

Parents have no doubt that they will appreciate the comprehensive emphasis on the protection of copyrighted wild animals and cultures and responsibilities we all need to protect countless, even if it is a little difficult. They will also appreciate the more intended message about giving and taking parents by learning to enable children to become their own people, as well as children who learn that parents are complex adults.

Talk to your kids about …

  • Families can talk about treating wild animals in the film. Do you think it is necessary to protect people from wild animals? Or would people respect gender wilderness, even if they endanger people?

  • Why do you think people would decide to live in a dangerous place like Canadian Arctic? Would you like to live there?

  • What do you know about people and their culture? Why is it important to know and protect the culture of domestic peoples?

Did we miss something on diversity?
