What is the story like?
Dr Lisa Leland (Candace Cameron Bure) packs his life as a surgeon in Los Angeles to join the practice of his boyfriend on Long Island. On the road, it gets accelerating a ticket in a bucolic city with normal, North Carolina, where local law enforcement reveals 23 unpaid parking tickets and leland arrest order. Leland owes $ 2,000, but the city is a place only in cash that does not take credit cards, and one ATM in the city is broken. Kind Judge, Doc (Lou Beatty, Jr.), which sees the possible successor in Leland, gives her the possibility of the community service instead of cash, and as it becomes locals and acts as their new doctor, she begins to see a more meaningful life that she never thought it was possible or desirable.
Is that good?
Finding a normal has a fast pace, some good acting and chemistry, and valuable messages. We all catch our lives and ambitions, we strive for how important it is to slow down, provide, help others, be part of a larger community and seek things that can give us meaning. Here, too, only an important surgeon reminded that even she has to pay the parking tickets. He works on undermining the assumptions we could do about people in small cities and their intelligence or quality of life.
This was said, film takes wide coatings in people living in cities, painting them as self-tangled and spoiled, which need a literal arrival in Jesus’ revelation. He also deals with digging on the acu for interference in religious freedom. For Christian families, this is a brain without a brain. For secular families, it has strong positive messages, but can cause questions why the other side can imagine only one real way to live.
Talk to your kids about …
-
Families can talk about the city opposite the earth. How do you think the film is shown every way of life? Which film suggested was better? Why? Do you agree? Why, or why not?
-
Do you think that the judge’s decision is to require a community service to be good? Why, or why not?
-
Is the main character decision at the end of the film TRUE true for you? Why, or why not?
Did we miss something on diversity?
Research shows the connection between child’s healthy self-esteem and positive portraits in the media. That is why we added the “Different National Teams” section into our examinations that will overturn. You can help us to help children
