For this reason, Amanda Kuhlman is careful for small format tiles. The smaller tile, the more seams will have the floor to have.

“The kitchen can be a really dirty place with the food shop and lubrication exhibition,” says Kuhlman. “In the kitchen design, I avoid small format tiles such as a penile tiles or mosaic, simply because of how much fungotation there is clean.”

“I do not recommend bamboo floors for your customers because very soft wood is easily pliable to indent, gauge and scratches,” says Alexandra Peck designer. It adds that bamboo floors also bleach on direct sunlight.

Bamboo has a reputation for ecological material because Bamboo is renovated and lasts only three years to ripen.

But it is difficult to recycle floors from bamboo. It is often laminated against basic materials such as medium density fibrous plates (MDF), which cannot be recycled.

Laminate floors

Laminate floors are DIY Favorites because it is easy to install. But he does not receive high scores of some professionals. Mitch Coluzzi, contractor in the selling, strongly dislikes laminate floors.

Coluzzi says the laminate has a strong layer for wear and may look amazing when it enters the illusion of huge value. But it is not durable in the long run.

“The conditioning mechanism is not always protected,” says Coluzzi. “If you drop an icy cube that melts, some children who pour out or have a messy dog, the floor will be persecuted over time.”

Alternative

Gray luxury vinyl farming are ubiquitous. Stores are sold so much as it fits into a wide range of home styles. But the problem with gray floors is his irresistible muddy.

“I generally advise to specify the gray wooden floors / luxury vinyl board,” says Kuhlman.

Instead of getting acquainted with all household styles in half, cool gray tones of the opera Vibrancy from the space, she says.

Alternative

Instead of a limp, lifeless gray vinyl board, Kuhlman recommends middle wood with minimal color variation. It still offers a neutral foundation of gray DNA, but warmly entries in space.

Parquet wood floors

Parquet parquet is made of small wood slats arranged in the operating pattern. It is busy, a look that evokes Renaissance style and works well in smaller quantities. But the problem, Peck says, in the way the floors were built.

Smaller pieces of wood are easily lifted from the ground and often break or creak under their feet, she says.

It is difficult and sand parquet, because wooden grains are working in at least two different directions.

Alternative

If the wood floors are parquet your business, understand it – but whether they are professionally installed and make sure you treat it carefully. Avoid scratching parquet because it is so hard to refine.

Adhesive floors

Adhesive floors are often used in commercial spaces. But that is less than desirable in residential applications, says Koluzzi.

“Proponents claim that it can last long, but it is not easy to service with spots, chips or corners,” he says. “It is also very intense to remove if you ever want to replace it.”

Colzzian repugnance toward dressing floors on the residential down turning on the carpet. He points out that adhesive adhesive has no coverings, which is important for comfort in the house.

Alternative

Floating under the alternative is pasted by vinyl, wood or designed floors. Floating slabs or tiles connect to the side to the side but are not attached to the sofa.

The soft alternative for adhesive for adhesive is a wall-wall carpet that connects to floor strips with pointed nails arranged around the rim of the room.

Self-adhesive vinyl tiles

Peck acknowledges that the self-adhesive vinyl pill-stick and the bat is an affordable option for the input level level. But that is the only good thing about this type of floor.

“Requires adhesive to hold the surface under, which can easily switch from time to time, exposing sticky glue and creating a messy disorder,” says Peck.

Alternative

Most floating floors are a wood-shaped board. But you can find some species that come in a square (for example 12 inches per 12 inches) or rectangular (12-inch for 24-inch) forms, mimic tiles. Both shapes are easy for Diyers to install.

List Vinyl Superior floors is an alternative to self-adhesive vinyl tiles. Bed linen with 12 feet can include smaller rooms, which require any seams. Diyer can install a sheet vinyl floors in a room with several cuts.
