Walton Goggins may be the most famous for his performing roles in “Bijelo Lotus”, “Fallout” and “just Drago”, but his stunning Hudson Valley Home just took the central phase. Originally based in Los Angeles, Goggins and his wife, the Nadia Conners’ writer moved to New York Hudson Valley 2021. in a home that could only be described as timeless, filled with endless charm and style.

“We didn’t run from Los Angeles,” the actor told the architecture with digestion in a home tourist conversation. “We ran toward something. (Pandemic) was an opportunity to make something different, not start over, but to change, evolve.”

We included some interior designers for their thoughts about Goggin’s house, and the design trends that I just can’t get enough.

Including vintage pieces

In a house tour, Goggins do not stray from providing their vintage pieces in the center of attention – and there are plenty of them. Vintage pieces give a home extremely courated feeling, but Goggins mention that there are pieces owned by which the 28 of which were moved to this new space.

“This is an essential lesson for homeowners,” says Daniel Davis, founder and main designer 56. Street Design Studio. “It is important to invest in furniture or artistic work that you love, so you can get them out of one home in the next. You will learn how to find new ways of these items for you.”

Stirring the design styles rather than hold only one

Through his home, Goggins mixed various design styles, as well as new with the old through a mixture of vintage and modern pieces – and this is especially visible in their registry office. The chairman of that and the couch sits so closely with the vintagene table create a seamless mix of old and new.

“Frequently, people sleep this one chairs with extremely modern furniture, making space feel cold,” added Davis. “Goggins was able to get this space with light, artistic and personal memes somehow cannot fit well.

Goes big with art

Too often people lean towards the conservative side of adding large parts of artwork to their homes. It is more likely to see the gallery wall of smaller pieces than the individual act taking the central stage in one’s home these days; Of course, Goggins’ is an exception.

“Large modern and modern pieces place the background and tone for its aesthetics, while its collection of smaller pieces speaks of its personality, travel and diverse interests,” Emily Lamarque, the founder and the main designer Emily Lamarque Design Studio, stocks.

Lamarque hopes that great works of art as a visual statement in the house become a trend that people can embrace this year.

Combining different types of materials

Through a home, there are various materials present from the brick fireplace on wooden elements, metal finishes and more. This is especially true of the dining room and kitchen in which more materials are combined to create space that is sensitive, modern pleasant and vintage all at once.

Lamarque notes that the French dining table and chandelier in the dining room can have too feminine for this otherwise male leaning home – but worn patina on both pieces make them perfectly with space.

“I also appreciate the timeless, classic cuisine with black cabinets, brass couplings and carrar marble in conflict with rustic wooden elements all over,” Lamarque said. “(IT) feels and timeless and reminiscent of an era of a house without too much precious or sterile.”
